Toys aren’t just for kids.

Regular play is important for cats, especially those that live indoors. It satisfies their natural hunting instinct, helps them maintain a healthy weight and generally keeps them happy. If you don’t invest time in regular play sessions, they will most likely keep you up in the early hours when they’d normally be stalking prey.

To prevent boredom, it’s important to change it up a little. If your cat isn’t responding to the same tricks, try something else. Throw a rubber ball, dangle a feather, jingle a bell or even chase her from one end of the house to the other. Sometimes simple things like hiding under the sheets on laundry day is the most fun a cat can have.
